Chose Brambleton after comparing with Stonegate by NV Homes. NV homes had restrictions about which home to put on which size lots. We were looking for bigger lot but not so big of a house.
Choosing the Builder
Went with Winchester Homes. We already own a Winchester home and are very happy with what we got. Love their your home, your way options. Its probably possible with other builders too but these people make it seems to encourage and put those options out in front of you so you can imagine new possibilities to suit your needs.
Choosing the lot
Wanted a lot in cul-de-sac, with woods or lake in the back. Was able to get cul-de-sac and woods in the back, a good 1/4 acre lot on high grounds.
Home Style
The Abbey model was our #1 choice, for the layout and sq ft.

Its a long list of things, so many details to take into consideration.
